The food court at the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station Costco is being renovated, so it's closed. People are getting off that escalator in a state of shock! |

I went there on Friday and I was one of those people.
I think it will remain closed until the end of April. |

What they really need is more tables. I like the food and prices, but don't want to eat standing up.
Oh yeah. Remove the onion machines. That's just embarrassing. |

Their pizza is abysmal and their hot dogs are worse. If you're already in Costco, why not buy some Johnsonville Brats and make a good hot dog? As for the pizza, there are much better places around. |

Every time I go to Costco I eat there. And every time I eat there I think, "this stuff is shit."
I guess that's less of comment on Costco's food court and more of a comment on my inability to keep up with the average lab rat... |

Haha, I had the exact same experience on Friday. My friend and I were pumped for some cheap-ass cafeteria food before the monthly Costco run and were aghast when the whole place was boarded up. |

I can imagine. They were probably looking forward to that plate of onions ketchup and mustard for ages. |

I hate standing there with my hot dog patiently waiting for an ajuma to put about 2 kilos of diced onions on a plate. |

I never understood that. I see people take such huge amounts of onions from that thing and I wonder how they are eating it? Like a side-dish? Spoonfuls of raw Onion, really? |

You can take the peasant out of Korea but you can't take the Korea out of the peasant.

I too was there on Friday and when I first saw the closed off area I thought my internal cosco navigating system was off until I made a round and ended up in the same place and read the renovation sign. When I realized my objective of getting pizza was foiled, I audibly gasped in shock. I sincerely hope they finish soon. |

They remodeled the Daegu Costco food court about a month ago. I think they made the kitchen area bigger but took away about 1/4 of the seating
On the plus side, they now have berry smoothies. |
