I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

| There were at least 5 or 6 cars in that list that I actually liked the look of. |

Aw man, the Hyundai PONY was my 1st car - back in the UK about 10 years ago ^^* Good times.
A quick question to car fans, I am looking to buy a car (just sold my Kia Soul) - looking at sm5 or avante? Any suggestions? I'm not very knowledgable!!! |

Korea makes cars with exactly zero styling. Which I rate because it makes them a kind of blank canvas to modify to your own liking. I would happily drive an Equus, Senator or an SM7(actually a Nissen via Renault) on a decent set of alloy rims.
America easily makes the most repellent cars on earth. Except for the Chrysler 300S. I'm going to drive a 10 year old one of them some day.
The Aussies make, hands down, the best looking cars in the world. |

The Holden Manaro. I believe it's the Pontiac GTO in the States.
Some of the HSV prepped cars are killer (after market mod company, but licensed by Holden). Utes too.
Some of their smaller models show up in Europe and the States as Opel and Vauxhall, but they are universally pap. |

Haha. You must be right. You don't know anything about Aussie cars, you just know they aren't as good as some generic Korean box.
Congratulations. You are a genius. |

So tell me, Mr. smartass. Which aussie car brands are known for quality? At least Hyundai recently has been sweeping number of car awards.
Generic korean box? That's funny. Are you idiots stuck in 80 or early 90s when korean cars REALLY were f*cking garbage? That was then, this is now.

I have to agree with Solarian here. The last 5 or so years Hyundai really has upped their game. |

Gee whizz. Relax guy.
We are talking about looks. Not reliability or quality.
I never called Korean cars garbage. Many Korean cars are known for their safety and reliability at a low price point. You just couldn't call the factory iterations of Korean cars necessarily that good looking, more plain Jane. Go back a dozen or so posts and you will see that I praised this characteristic of Korean cars as a good thing.
So why don't you just calm down? |
