I need a suit for interviewing. I'm a woman (US size 12) and definitely have hips. I could possibly get away with just buying a formal suit jacket and wear the black trousers I brought. However, I'd like to buy two matching pieces if possible.

A co-worker mentioned Zara for my size but wasn't completely sure if they'd have a suit. Also, I'll check out H & M soon.

Appearance is so important here and I'd like to get it right. I can have something shipped from home if people think that's a better option.

Okay. Would it be better to ask, "Where can I get a suit made?"
Where is a good place to do that?

Also, what do you mean by "cheap"? Am I looking at less than 100K won or do they run 200-300K for a two-piece suit with trousers?

I like Capital Custom Tailor in Itaewon but suits run 250,000won and up (I believe that is still really cheap for a custom suit).

I wish I could explain how to get there, the number is 02-797-7697. It is on the main strip about a block or 2 before the mcdonalds on the same side.
The guy speaks English and could meet you out front. I went to a couple other tailors but didn't like their examples or their pushiness.

I got a suit and a blazer made there and they are much better quality (and fit) than anything I got at Zara, Banana Republic or equivalent.

In any case, good luck on your interview. Smile

Thanks cali! That's really helpful information! I'm sure I can find it with some footwork.

I don't have an interview yet but will need to begin applying in the next month or two.

I have a nice suit for sale with a knee length skirt. It has been worn once.
Its Korean size 77 so I don't know if its equivalent to size 12.
The skirt fits about a 30 inch waist.

I have a size 77 black jacket for sale. The brand is Uno Core. Its basically black with the addition of a small amount of a pattern woven in the material. The body is lined and the sleeves are unlined.

Following is a link to photos. There is also a size 100 Crocodile Ladies blouse for sale. Both items have never been worn.
