Dude, that has Intel graphics. Blergh. This has an nVidia 8600. It will handle any modern game short of Metro 2033. That thing wouldn't play Half-life 2 at an acceptable frame rate. |

Right, but does a graphics card take an otherwise inferior second hand laptop above a new one in price? The new one has a slightly faster processor and larger hard drive. It's also new and under warranty.
Does this second hand one have any warranty left on it? I might let the better video card cancel out the second handedness of the laptop depending on just how old it is. But its hard to say a video card cancels out the spec bump, the warranty and the second hand nature of the laptop. The vid card was probably only $100 or $200 extra at the time of purchase and might be worth no more than $30-$50 in price bump now. |

vostro is the cheaper business line model of dell. i do believe that there is still warrently left onthe laptop. not sure ill ask my roomate later after work. as for price this laptop has a much better cpu then the new samsungs/averatek/lgs out right now. again i did say the price is not solid this is merely wat he is looking to get and i believe its a good price its like 40% of the original |
