I've written this in the Trade section but I thought I'd take a bash here too.
I'm looking to pick up a Polariod camera while here in Seoul. If anyone has any tips where I might be able to find a store, reseller or even a market which would stock one, I'd be eternally greatful.
I realise it's a stretch since production stopped on new Polaroids, but I'd thought I'd throw it out there nonetheless.
I'm also interested in any other leads on toy cameras you might have come across.
Please no Ebay links.
Cheers. |

Try some stationary stores or in Kyobo. Just look for large groups of middle school girls milling around and you're bound to find one. If not there try some of the Japanese shops. |

In Seoul, try the area between Chungmuro station and Myeongdong station. It's full of first and second-hand photo supply stores. They'll have some instant bodies and film cartridges. |

Isn't Polaroid film incredibly hard to come by these days? |

There is a new polaroid printer/camera called the zink, itll print photos on polaroid size in 50 seconds, 15 from full battery without smudging. I dont know how instant you need it to be but this is an option.
Also, fujifilm make their own instant cam called the instant mini or mio. but its only in asian markets. |

Not as easy as it once was to buy, but there are independent companies making it now at a hiked-up price. |

Yeah, quite a while ago. Maybe a year ago? I've also seen them at some large bookstore-stationery-giftshop places, possibly the big bookstore at Yongsan IPark Mall. |

10X10 shop in Hyewha carried them last time I checked (a couple of months ago- may not anymore). It's off the main drag if you walk through the McDonalds and head back towards Naksan hill. Under the Robot museum. |
