What if your classes at univ all had 100+ students and you graduated 3 years ago?
There was virtually no chance any of my professors knew who I was back then, much less today.
And I haven't talked to any of my previous employers in over a year, plus I didn't have the best working relationship with them.
Has anyone asked a current boss/supervisor? Wouldn't that be tough since you are basically telling them that you will be quitting your job to go teach english? |

Write the letter,
email it to me and I will attach my name and contact info.
I'll send it back and hand it in.
send me a list of things about yourself.
If and when they call I will be happy to put you over.
What, it will be a 5 minute call or less? |

I don't think that you need much. I use my certificate of employment from other schools as my reference letter and that seems to work.
Get something that says that you are a great person. It doesn't even have to be specific. |

I'm just curious, but can the two reference letters be from the same company?
In my last job I got on very well with pretty much everyone on the management staff because I was such an exemplary worker. I would have no trouble getting 10-20 references from this place If I wanted. The reason I ask this is because the only one of my University professors who knew me well enough has retired and while he gave me his email address to contact him for a reference if I needed it, I have already done this on numerous occasions when he was still working at the University. I would rather let the guy enjoy his retirement in peace if possible and let him finish off his book. |

I have the same question. I can get a a few good recommendations letters from my current job (been there 5+ years), but can't really think of anyone else to ask. I was wondering if EPIK will accept 2 letters from the same company? |

Honestly, go with your current references, but try to get into contact with an old college professor or the head of the department. in worst case scenario epik ask you to send another reference and you can get a basic one from one of them. |

Funny (or probably not), up until this month, the site was saying you only needed one letter. |
Arrrgggghhhh! That's really annoying for me, as I have one letter and am waiting for someone who is "on leave until April 16th". It's the only thing I'm waiting for before I can submit my application form, but time is running out. |
