|

Hi there,
Sorry, know this has probably been asked 100 times, but I can't find any of the threads cos the search function doesn't work too well!
We are wanting to go to Mindoro at the end of July for a week and were wondering where to go for the cheapest airfares.
Any advice would be great! Thanks!! |

There are NO CHEAP flights in July. School gets out, prices double.
Plan on spending 500-800k won to get a return flight ICN-MNL-ICN.
Cebu pacific usually has the best rates ICN-MNL. There are some disadvantages to using them. Only 15kg baggage. 5kg carry-on. No meals or drinks provided (you have to buy them and that includes water).
IF you book now you may get something cheaper (depending on your dates). I just looked and found a few dates in July for about 320k won return but they won't last long.
Regular rates for Asiana and Korean air run 700-800k return in peak seasons.

There are two 'bargain airlines' flying between Korea and the Philippines.
http://www.cebupacificair.com/
The sooner you book, the lower the prices. In my one experience: A very modern plane - but not even water is complimentary. Still very very good prices and a professional experience. I wouldn't hesitate to take them again.
Or,

I've never taken this one. |

Why do people complain about no free water? I'd rather pay 80,000 won + 1000 won for water than 300,000 won for a flight with free water |

I don't think anyone here has complained - just pointed out, as such a policy is unusual enough to warrant mentioning. |

Can anyone tell me why there's no option to leave from Korea on Zest air? They have Korea on their route map..

Yup, you have to go to their Korean website:

| I've never used the website - but try using Internet Explorer if you weren't, a huge number of Korean websites are IE-only (Seems to be an E. Asia thing) |

Are you trying to do a one-way? That could cause a problem.

Still no joy, try Busan-Kalibo and see what happens. I've given up on that website. |

So it's still not working, keep getting the pop up window which translates into something about being out of service.
Anyone have any experience with this website? |
