In Korea they have this little brown bottled drink called "Bacchus"...white and red label. I don't see it very often, but usually in mom n pop botegas, in the fridge. 500 won or something. Has 1000 mg of taurine in it, which is the main component of Red Bull. Works just like Red Bull, tastes like Red Bull. ...maybe it IS Red Bull in a brown little glass bottle...

I've seen it in Pharmacy fridges too.

most of the Red Bull "clones" may taste the same out the bottle, but it sure doesn't taste the same when you make a cocktail with it.

Red Bull is one of the biggest rip offs of all time. People in North America will pay $2 for one bottle...

but in Thailand, the country where the stuff is from, it's 10 bhat.

That's 35 cents!

Ha, Ha! Someone is making a killing profit wise

Maybe Koreans are smart because they don't fall for the Red Bull marketing which, it turns out, is a lot of bull.
Not a fan of Thai style Redbull because its not carbonated, but they have another drink called Shark which is like western style redbull which is good.

In the UK you can buy a litre of Kick for 79p which is tastes exactly the same Redbull you can also buy the cans for around 20p.
