Perhaps I should have used "consistently" rather than "constantly", but I was drunk so it's okay.

BB, no offense.

I've heard of it, but I have not yet time to watch. Maybe when my kids turn 18...? Sigh.

Am I the only one who finds it tiresome that when BB is confronted with something in opposition to her views, she constantly responds with:

"My babies are too hungry right now."

"I have to get up for work soon."

"I'm deep in the midst of a world-shattering thesis, and my babies are hungry so I'll get back to you later."

Why even bother to post if it's such a trial for you?

What are you talking about? Mises just posted a link to something he knows will be of interest to me. Hardly confronting me with something in opposition to my views. I've been aware of it for some months, and would like to watch it, but have not found the time. I watch about 1 hour of TV a week. That's all I actually have time for.

Secondly, when I do respond in such a way as you are complaining of, it's in response to people harranging me for responses.

ManInAMuddle once posted an OP that required a response to 10 points. It was during the Xmas break when the childcare centre was closed, and I had 2 small children of an age that needed constant supervision. Yet he hounded me all around the board demanding that I write the response (which would have taken hours to type) as if this was actually something I HAD A DUTY TO DO!

I get really sh'tty with people who demand that I put a bloody forum before keeping an eye on my small children. Or perhaps I should tie them to a chair, put on a DVD, and spend my time responding here - rather like the Korean parents of that unfortunate toddler who died because her stupid parents were so addicted to the internet.

I also make a point of telling people who seem to be expecting a long drawn out debate from me that I simply cannot play. i.e. Fox with his enormous point by point refutions that go on for infinity.

I've been away from this forum for about 2 months. Reading crap like this, reminds me that I have more urgent priorities.

See ya.
