Hello,

So here is my situation. I am looking to work in Seoul during the summer. I am currently looking for teaching positions. I will graduate this May. However, I will not receive my diploma until 10 weeks after I graduate.

I really am in no position to wait that long, and can only get a letter from my university saying that I graduated. Though that does not seem to work from what I've read.

Any ideas of how I can work in Seoul right after I graduate without a diploma?

If you're eligible to work with an F-4, it shouldn't be a problem.

Even if you're not, quite frankly there are a lot of Hagwons that hire people without the required work visa.

However know that in the second case, the Hagwon owners/managers can screw you over without any fear of reprisals. And they probably will.

Well I'm not a Korean-American so I think a F-4 is out of the question.

If I were to consider working for a Hagwon without the required documents, what else do I need to consider besides being "screwed." Honestly, I'm willing to take the chance because I'm only looking for the opportunity to work in the summer.

Would it be feasible to find one of these schools and arrange something before I leave, or is it more of a get there and search type of deal?
