I have a two year old black macbook I'm thinking of selling.

Specs:
2.2 Ghz intel core 2 duo
1 gb ram
Snow Leopard

I will be re-setting it, but I can leave a few programs: MS office, Iwork, Adobe CS.

It still has almost a year of apple care on it. I wont be selling it until the 2nd week of May or first week of June.

But make me an offer.

So let me get this straight... You are 'thinking' of selling your Mac, but are not sure if you want to. And if you do sell it... it won't be for another month maybe two? Plus you do not yet have a price in mind?

Uh this is a Buy, Sell, and Trade site... Not a 'I'm thinking of selling my stuff... how much will you pay for it'.

If you really want to get rid of an item this is not the way to do it. All you are doing is frustrating potential buyers. Quit being a fisher, put up a price AND a definitive date of pick up for crying out loud. Evil or Very Mad

For those who want to bid... (and yes I know these things are more expensive in Korea) here is a link to the actual Apple web site that sells used items. Bid accordingly if you must...

Easy there, Sasquatch.
Nothing wrong with advance notice and letting the market set the price.

edit: Besides, I just noticed he/she posted at 1am on a Saturday night. Most young expats in Korea are at least 1/2 cut at that moment. Smile

Just to raise a point...

There are two people who use this account. I had one years ago, but I guess I didn't log in often enough and it was rendered in active. I sent three requests for a new account and none of them were ever activated, so I share my friend's. But the difference in initially hostile posts to the user name 'GAY in korea' is WAY higher than anything I ever got under my old account. I think this is telling.

As for me, I don't live in Korea right now, but I will likely be back twice, during the specified periods. If I find a buyer elsewhere I obviously wont be selling it in Korea. This is mainly for the idiot who initially responded.

I've gotten a few offers in two different countries. With the software and apple care the bids seem to vary. I had one low ball from this posting and two serious offers. The two highest bids overall are virtually identical, but in different currencies, neither of which is Korean Won. But they both work out to about 875,000 won. I had one guy offer me substantially more, but he hasn't replied to my follow up emails, so I am not counting that bid (I'm also assuming it was a 'he' making the offers).
