Im currently teaching at a public school with Epik. Im planning on leaving after 6 months and putting in the 30 days notice as stated in the contract. Can they somehow screw me out of my last months pay? Does anyone know of anybody who has also left EPIK early?? Any advice would be much appreciated

Yes., they can cause you grief.

A word of advice, if you want the minimum of problems regarding deductions in your last month, wait till you complete your 6th month and give your 30 days notice as required.

They may piss and moan but they can't go after your inbound airfare or settlement allowance. You will get your deposit back.

If you give notice before the 6 month mark you will have a fight over it because they may consider that you haven't completed your 6 months. It is a crock but will cause problems.

If you are planning to leave or give notice during your first 3 months, just leave the day after payday but don't plan on working in Korea for the next year. Don't give notice - it will do you no good and will make your last month more miserable than it already is.

Sorry it didn't work out for you.

Side issues:

IF you are leaving to take up a new job in Korea:
a) you will need a full set of documents again.
b) EPIK won't release you. You will have to go to immigration and tell them that you quit, get an exit order then apply for your new visa. When you get the new confirmation number, jump to Japan for your visa run and start your new job.

Don't post on more than one forum.

Also, follow ttompatz's advice. He is always right.
