Great gym with good classes (Club Chicago ) good pubs, shopping, restaurants and cinemas. A few train stops from the beach. All Good!
Take it.

i live in seomyeon and it's great!! It's easy and quick to get to most other popular areas from here. The subway station connects to the 2 major subway lines and there are also buses to every location.

I also love bujeon market where you can buy cheap groceries too.

It's pretty good I suppose. Bit congested but it is closer to Haeundae Beach.

Busan's great. Quirky, loud people but to me the city has more character than Seoul and the costs are lower. Too much rain in summer but very moderate winters. The beaches are not really swimming beaches but there's lots of them and they're fairly clean.

Seomyeon is the main downtown district and is central to everything. My only caution is that you don't want to be right in the middle of the noise, and you might want to ask about the exact location. Otherwise I would go for it.

Exit 6 in Seomyeon. Before exiting onto the street, check the map for the Migliore centre. Club Chicago is on the 5th floor.
They have loads of classes, a full timetable. I was only interested in the spinning classes but they have it all.

Somyeon is central, busy, full of shopping and entertainment and...noisy as heck!

But for a young couple it would be great as it sits at the nexus of the subway network, has buses to everwhere in the city and all you need as far as shopping, entertainment, gyms and so on.

Good luck and as a former Busan resident of 11 years and frequent visitor...welcome to Busan... Very Happy
