If you want to mod it, yes. I bought mine in Japan. Well, do anything to avoid the s***** Korean version which has a much higher chance of bricking when making changes to the sys. It's just an overall greater pain to deal with. |
I don't have any experience modding a NA version, but I've never had trouble messing with my Korean system and haven't bricked it yet. |
me too, no problems. just learn the hangul for "update" and avoid ever pressing that.
it WOULD be nice to have english menus for, say, setting up wireless, but i get by without. |

anyone tried soft modding a 3.3k version?
I followed the guide on wiihacks.com and got an error on the first screen. Bootmii unable to install.
I typed that message on google and only got results back in other languages. I also searched the wiihacks forums and couldn't find anything useful.
Ideas? |

| yeah...i'd just take it to yongsan and let them do it...the korean wii IS significantly different from american and japanese ones |
