| Are "pew pew" finger guns acts/threats of terrorism? |
| Yes, "pew pew" is likely secret code for detonating a dirty bomb in Kansas City on Valentines Day. |

| No, "pew pew" is a sign of certain adoration between a confused young girl and the mysteriously desirable white-board marker. |

| No, this is a waste of time. We should spend our time/money passing Finger Control and getting finger guns off the streets once and for all! |

This one is a hoot. A 13 year old girl was suspended from school because she was "was spotted making the shape of a gun with her hand." The reason? Apparently, going "pew pew!" is equal to "making a terroristic threat."
These are the institutions our children are raised in. This "zero tolerance" is absurd, unnatural, and part of the total institution that is forced upon the upcoming generation of Americans.
Not to mention the previous generation of American students: "The schools says the teacher feared for her life." pew pew pew!
But it's worse. Rumor has it that the poor girl has been abducted by authorities under extraordinary rendition to an unknown principal's office in another state where paddle-boarding is legal. There, she will be interrogated to identify the other members of Finger-Queda. All those implicated could be placed on the secretive No Hall Pass list. As a result of the investigation, Middle School Security agents have searched several lockers for improvised finger devises but so far it is unclear if any have been found.
It's getting bad out there, folks. There have all ready been reports that children being held at the YMCA in Cuba have been mistreated, including soldiers urinating on Dr. Seus and sending the inmates unfriendly text messages.
Whoever can we turn to to protect us from our children? |

Zero tolerance is pure cowardice. Instead of school administrators using good judgment to decide what is genuinely problematic and what is trivial on a case by case basis (and taking responsibility for those decisions), they just say everything is wrong to ensure they never say something is okay that they shouldn't have. It's pathetic.
If this little girl is a terrorist, I guess my students are too. And Hell, so am I; I regularly have "finger gun fights" with some of my boys. |

I bolded the relevant phrase. Good judgement to some is poor judgement to others. There is zero toerlance because without it, you would always have someone complain. School administrators take action and you will have one person who says they didn't do enough. Another person saying they did too much. Suddenly it becomes a huge issue that divides people in the community.
Welcome to today's world where someone, somewhere always has a bone to pick about something. In the near future, I see the elimination of "common sense". It will no longer be valid because people wouldn't be able to agree what is "common" anymore. |

Zero tolerance causes complaints too. Complaints aren't what matters. Results are what matters. A girl being suspended for making a finger gun is a bad result. |

| The media and government have overhyped 9/11 so much that America has become a brainwashed basket case of paranoia. |

My own family called me a "Bad American" when I said the invasion of Iraq was a huge mistake waiting to happen.
They're pretty sheepish today when I bring up how they initially responded to my predictions - and these are "educated" people.
The American MSM is straight-up crap. Those responsible for disseminating the official version of the "truth" need to be put up against the wall with the rest of the traitors, IMO.
Joke's over - eat a bullet and let's the rest of us go forward in a spirit of honesty before the BS consumes us all. |

Zero tolerance also causes lawsuits. My elder brother was suspended because a disenchanted young lady spread rumors that he was going to go postal -- same trumped up, bullshit charge of (imaginary) terrorist threats. The school board is lucky my family has enough dignity to only sue for official withdrawal of the accusation and a public apology. |
