Really? Is this how bored we are? As if the world isn't judgemental enough we need to be worrying about this? If I thought I'd get away with it I'd cuss you out. Instead, I'mma put on my comfy hiking boots, hitch up my backpack and go stand around in public. Got a problem with that? Come and tell me.

You can do that as long as everything is matching, you're carrying walking sticks, have a soju cup and bit of foam on the side of your brand name pack, as at least it looks as though you are going hiking, and not some stuck hick who has been transported to an urban environment, where you stand out like dogs balls.

That's great for you. I'm not knocking murses. If you like it, rock it Smile

I know that when I carry a one-strap bag, my shoulder aches after a while. I do often pack lunch, water, iTouch, hand sanitizer, book, and laptop (though that will change in a little over a month when I'm home and get the iPad my dad got me. hee hee! EXCITED!), so it can ache, even when I switch shoulders. I find that my pack fits it all and still looks pretty snazzy.

It's this one, but in black:

I've got a lovely black leather Prada messenger bag for when I have my new gizmo, but for the time being, stop hating on the packs. Smelly ones, sure, but some are lovely.

Another thing. Unless you're a DJ, there's no need to bring a big bag into a busy club or a bar. One of the barman/DJ's biggest pet peeves is some asshat who asks to store his Columbia behind the bar or the booth during peak hours.

2L of water? Plan ahead, not for the apocalypse.

I have a 1L metal water bottle, because I hate having to use plastic.

As for clubs or bars, there should be coat checks. If not, tip the barman really well.

I do believe this is the off-topic forum? What is illegitimate about this thread? It is 100% off-topic and thus, fits perfectly.

Thread=win. Way better than most stuff about Koreans looking at people.

Maybe you like it so much because you've finally found an outlet where people actually respond to your diarrhea of the mouth.

Backpacks are the easiest things to steal from for thieves and pickpockets.

You can't see you BP if it's in back of you. It's worse than a briefcase which is at your side. The fannypack is in front of you, which is tough to steal from.

It's rampant in Asia - go watch the videos of thieves on YT.

You've never been to Korea have you? Saying it's rampant in Asia is like saying if something happens in Mexico it must happen in Canada as well. They are both a part of North America after all!

And the American named fanny pack is to be worn behind you, or on your "fanny". Others call it a "bum bag" since their fanny is on the other side.
