I recently recieved my reference letter from my college, but the letterhead looks so bad.

I would have thought that my college would have had decent paper, but it looks really shoddy.

Do you think EPIK would pick up on this? And claim it to be fake?

By all means, they could phone my tutor that issued it, but it has still made me a bit paranoid.

Should i be worried?

Thanks.

God knows. LOL.

Even my official apostiled documents look like they came from pre-school art class.

I think they'll only pull you up if the referees have no contact details on the letters. Apart from that, if they're suspicious, they can ring or email them.

According to my recruiter, even letters without an official letterhead are fine, as long as the contact info for your recommenders is clearly included.

Also, my apostilled diploma is so hideous it even looks fake to me... which is especially sad considering it's from an art school. Meh.

It shouldn't matter how scraggy your reference is, because EPIK will ring/contact your referee.

Yes in my interview the EPIK guy was more interested in checking the contact details were correct than the appearance of the reference itself. My previous manager's reference had good content but looked like it was written on the back of a fag packet with a letterhead drawn on Smile

One of ours didn't have a letterhead, just a business card stapled to it and that seemed to be okay. I think it says somewhere letterhead 'if possible' - cause some references might be from institutions that don't have letterheads. They are letterheadless.
