Has anyone been here for tattoos or tattoo removal? http://www.vincent.co.kr/tt/board/ttboard.cgi?db=notice
I'm trying to get a tattoo removed and I went to Wooskin clinic near Sookmyung and wasn't impressed. They quoted me one price, then another, then kept adding little things on.
Anyways, I've emailed Vincent tattoo with a photo of my tattoo and they gave me info via email and I'm going tomorrow to check it out.
Just wanted to know if anyone has any experiences good or bad with this place. Thanks |

I went there today and have to say that it was very professional.
I had gone to Wooskin clinic and wasnt' impressed at all. They changed their prices, which were sky high, and on top of that added a consultant fee every time I would have gone in. It would have been 1,500,000 won. Not only that, but I felt like the doctor was talking down to me and really wasn't sure what he was doing. He said it would take 20 minutes. Which is a lot, considering how small my tattoo is. It's long, but thin and just curvy lines.
So I went to Vincent tattoo and they do tattoos, tattoo removal, hair removal and birthmark or sun spot removals. No consultant fee. I had previsouly spoken to them on the phone and then emailed a photo of my tattoo. He said I would need 7 sessions and quoted me 600,000 if I paid all at once or 200,000 that I would have to pay 5 times. In addition, he showed me photos of tattoo removals that he had done. He was very honest and said that while they could remove all the black, I might have a brown stain left behind in some of the darkest parts. Which is fine, I don't expect them to be able to erase it completely. He said he has a one year guarantee, you get your money back if you're not satifised. I thnk that's important to do . It shows that he believes in his ability to help you.
I told him that I could only do four sessions, since they were 6 weeks apart and would have to stop at the end of Sept since we were going to try to get pregnant then. He said that was fine, I could come back anytime and finish the treatment.
They took a before photo and put numbing cream on. I waited 40 minutes and then went to do the treatment. The whole thing probably lasted 2 minutes, but it was very very painful. Probably because of the fact that I had it on my foot, but it was like fire being shot into my skin. As they worked, they put an ice pack on it. Afterwards my tattoo was a whitish green, and I had to wait with an ice pack for five minutes. They put a gauze patch on so that I could walk home and not have my shoe rub against it.
No shower for a day, well, no standing in the shower, I suppose I can do a bucket shower. I should try to go without shoes or socks if possible, not put any ointment, gauze on it or take pills. Which is fine with me.
WHich is another reason why I liked Vincent Tattoo. They were more nautral, whereas Wooskin was ready to have me put on tons of creams and take pills that I had no idea what they were for.
Anyways, just my two cents. I was very satisified and will be back in 6 weeks for the next session. |
