My in-laws are coming to Korea for 10 days beginning in late May. They'll be mostly staying with us down in Jeonju, but we need to find a hotel for them in Seoul for the first two nights, and also a hotel near the Inch'eon airport for the last night (since their flight is quite early in the morning). We'd like it if the hotel in Seoul was pretty centrally located so it's easy to sightsee around Seoul that weekend.

Any recommendations? A decent value to cost ratio would be great, as my husband and I might also try to stay in the same hotel (different room) with them. But since we'll all be saving money by having them stay in our apartment for the rest of the visit, it doesn't have to be as cheap as the 40-50,000 won love hotels we usually go for.

Thanks for the help!

Another one in Myeongdong....just opposite the Lotte Dept Store and Myeongdong main street is Ibis Ambassador Hotel.

It was however about 90k a night when my friends stayed last year, maybe cheaper through the likes of Agoda etc.

The Jun Hotel in Incheon's airport town was pretty decent at 75,000 won per night. Bus to and from the airport.

The Gaya Hotel is near Samgakchi station--it was around 60,000 won and was within walking distance of the USO, which serves western food, which my parents liked when they visited....

As mentioned The Ibis in Myeong Dong is a great deal. Good value and perfect location. When I was there it included a good western/Asian breakfast buffet.

As for the Gaya near the USO, keep in mind that benefit is gone. The USO canteen is no more. If someone could tell me I'm wrong and it re-opened I would be grateful.
