I've been talking with a co-worker about getting on a train for the weekend and going somewhere out of Seoul. Two, or three hours away is ideal. I've been to Gyeongju and really enjoyed it, but I need some ideas for a two or three day vacation.
Thanks!
(Ideally, we would travel by (KTX) |

| Chuncheon makes for a good quick trip from Seoul, it's not on KTX but another smaller train. I think it's only 4k one way. Good hiking and there's a place near the temple (I can't remember the name it's near the Goyang Dam) where you can eat lunch on tables set over a creek. |
