In the day where CSI and evidence seems to reign supreme, am I the only one that thinks it's a little hard to swallow suicide when a medical examiner states conclusively that he was too doped up to even hold a gun much less aim it at his head and pull the trigger?

I mean this is asside from the fact that Love's own father thinks that she may have done it, I just can't get beyond the medical evidence alone.

But of course I also believe that O.J may not have done it and that Michael Jackson did do it. So my "beleif" in certain issues is suspect anyway.

To me though a medical examiner saying that suicide was impossible seems to be a pretty compelling proof against suicide.

Any thoughts?

i heard he's living in a cabin in the northeast of the U.S. with Elvis and can't come out of hiding because he's being blackmailed. The person blackmailiing him is so influential and powerful, Kurt's powerless....

He's been dead since..what...1994? Really, is it really even that important whether he did the deed himself or not? Dead is dead. And the guy was a depressive...

It was a long time ago, but either way he was on a downward spiral that would only result in his death.

He was a depressed junkie. Layne Staley from Alice In Chains ended up the same way from the needle.

On a side note, this is an interesting read from a friend of mine:

Part 1- http://monkeygoggles.com/?p=3707

Part 2- http://monkeygoggles.com/?p=3714

Part 2 gives some insight into the Cobain-Love relationship in his final days

I love the jag offs that just come out of the wood work when someone posts virtually anything.

Its not about "Can I speak on the topic" it's' "Oh goody another topic I can pass judgement on"

So to reactionary, good for you, you don't care. Thanks for the input.

This is an OFF TOPIC FORUM, it was something I thought about given that he was in the news yet again the other day.

Does anyone want to actually speak to the question or are my responses going to be limitited to the hoplessly mornic and ignorant "this was like 16 years ago dude" or "yeah I don't give a crap"?

Another intelligent response, yeah if was murder that's hardly something people care about 16 years later, not like they could prosecute someone if he was in fact murdered.

Ockham's razor. Stop making it out to be a conspiracy or something. The guy was depressed, had a shotgun and blew his head off. Period. End of story. But, of course, there are the conspiracy theorists that come out of the woodwork and get their panties in a bunch. He killed himself and, yeah, not too many people here in 2010 care about Cobain.

Oh yeah surely the police never get it wrong, yeah that never happens.

Surly if you DID happen to hate your husband, and he DID have a history of depression and if he WAS so drugged out he would offer no resistance, and if you DID want him dead so you COULD get all of his money, there would be ZERO possibility that someone would kill.

Thanks for another insightful response.

Sometimes there ARE conspiracies out there you know.

I don't care about Cobain either, but this topic continues to interest me.

While I do understand the OP's frustration, I have to say...If you are going to insult someone's intelligence online, make absolutely sure you don't have any typos or grammar mistakes.

Edit: I have no idea why my quotes never work. But you get the idea.

Kurt Cobain was smote by Zeus! It's true, I was there!

O cruel gods who use their people so harshly! Is there no rest from the whim of Olympians, no satisfaction for their desires and contests, no lull in their eternal search for poon? Alas, alas...

Love was on The View today. I just caught a bit of it, but she's part of the production team for a movie on Cobain. She did say that she'll have script and cast approval.
