just looking at ticket prices via the Jeju Air website and the cost comes to 260,000 won. I'm assuming it's not including taxes. Does anyone know how much? I tried to register but my details keep getting rejected (my Korean is not up to scratch probably!)
Has anyone used Jeju Air to Thailand recently? I think they just started flying there. Obviously a bit of a no go zone (BKK) right now but for future reference..... |

I would expect Thailand to be super duper cheapo as it's on the brink of civil war at this time. Sorry to break it up for you. Go at your risk or displeasure. |

No, it's not really cheap despite the unrest.....it's 530k+ on the usual carriers Thai Air/Cathay etc. I flew for that price over Christmas.
The cheapest prices start at 260k on Jeju Air (exlc taxes I ASSUME). I would like to know the taxes (I know they change, but roughly)for future reference for myself not for flying right now obviously. |

I am planning a trip to Thailand in September/October for 3 weeks with a friend. I was going to book my flights with Jeju air this week but have decided to hold back due to the protests in Bangkok.
The flights I was looking at with Jeju were coming out at 512,000won after tax etc. It was the best price I got for a direct flight. There are also some good deals on www.whypaymore.co.kr, the site is only in Korean but pretty easy to navigate if you read Hangul. Jeju air also had flights for around 420,000 after tax if you were travelling in Thailand for less than 15 days.
Is anyone else planning travelling to Thailand around September or October?! Any thoughts on the unrest and how it is effecting your travel plans?! I have considered maybe changing plans to go to Cambodia or Laos but I am really set on Thailand at the moment. |

Last year I saw advertised on September 14 at Kangsan Travel a last-minute October getaway to Thailand special of 299,000 won for travel beginning and ending in October, so I went to Thailand from October 2nd to 31st, Incheon to Bangkok for less than 330,000 won all in. I forget the airline, but must have been Thai Air or Korean Air. I so zone out during flights and only remember if the service is especially bad or good.
Sometimes it's worthwhile waiting until the last minute. |

Yeah, I can't seem to find a cheap flight from Incheon to Thailand for the end of this month. Anyone know where I can find a cheap flight? I was hoping to get something cheap cause of the unrest going on there.... |

Well you are approaching busy season, so its getting harder to find good deals. Have you checked with travel agents? If you wait until a week before they release the unused seats, so try 072.com. There is also Jin Air and of course Bangkok Airways. |
