No, I'm not trying to take this in a sexual direction.

Just wondering if anyone else has what I would call, for lack of a better term, a pet peeve that they find revolting and honestly gets their gag reflex going or can even induce vomiting.

Mine is saliva. Seeing it makes me gag. I can't stand to watch boxing. I love babies but can't stand to see them drool. I immediately attack the offending child with a bib or cloth. I absolutely can't stand to watch people use wet tobacco and spit into a cup that they carry around with them. I think it is the trashiest, most disgusting habit anyone can have. I have actually seen people doing this in stores and I have to immediately walk away before I throw up in the aisle. My best friend has worked in dentistry for years and thinks it is hilarious that I have this aversion. She laughs at my obvious revulsion when I have to spit out anything when I'm having any kind of procedure done.

I am looking forward to returning to Korea, but not looking forward to the constant horking and spitting in public and finding it on the street. I thought of this because as I was sitting here at the public library, the teenager sitting in front of me kept pulling his retainer in and out of his mouth while he worked on his computer. I had to get up and move.

Am I just weird? Does anyone else have a severe aversion to something that most people don't find so serious?

I don't have a sight related one, but hearing someone puke makes my gorge rise.

City streets where lots of people walk. Well, it's the olfactory sense too.

People who have terrible hygiene. Again, visuals and olfactory senses are coupled, but visuals just really top off revealing anything what it really is like. Serious, I sometimes wanna gag upon viewing some people and the streets they walk. Not only in Korea, but anywhere.

There's some eel restaurants where they turn the eel inside out. This looks really revolting and incites all kinds of castoration anxiety. I don't mind the Japanese style in fact I like it.

I hate when people are at my house and their hands are constantly touching/picking at their feet when they're sitting down. I've actually noticed a lot of people do this. Then when they start touching everything--my computer, video game controllers, door knobs, etc. I just get so grossed out. And it's not like I can really say, "Can you please stop grabbing your feet?" 'cause that would be weird.

GROSS. I HATE FEET.

Can't say that anything visual makes me want to hurl. I'm too desensitized from years of internet surfing.
But the smell of really bad body odor especially paired with a nasty set of dreads has on many occasions made me want to, if not actually throw up, then definitely move with the quickness.

Haha no, I have nothing like this. But my ex-gf in high school did.

Whenever someone put chocolate sauce on their upper lip and mentioned "dirty sanchez", she would lose it.

I used to get really grossed out by the kids picking boogers and eating them, now I can just ignore it unless it's disturbing others. I am becoming desensitized!
The gagging sound bugs me even if the person isn't actually vomiting.

I think I have a pretty high tolerance at this point. I mean, I was horrified and disgusted by 2 girls, 1 cup, but I didn't literally gag. :/

Absolutely nothing bothers me, bar one thing - Mould.
When I had to pour gone-off milk down the sink the other day, I knew it would lead to bad things, so I put gloves on, held my breath, closed my eyes and turned away, and even then, the imagination alone as I poured was enough to make me gag like...a poor stand-up comedian.

maggots

When I was young, I saw The Lost Boys, and a few days later I opened a drawer in the kitchen to find potatoes which had gone bad and were crawling with them. They creep me the mod edit out.
