Anyone else seen it? I watched the original 1970s version last night, the real documentary. I'm going to watch the scripted one with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange tonight. For those not in the know, it's a famous 1970s documentary about 2 very eccentric relatives of Jackie Kennedy.

I enjoyed the movie and the original documentary as well.

I've been meaning to watch this, it won a lot of awards this past season. But I didn't know there was an original so I'm going to watch that one first.

Here's where I found the 2009 version:

I just finished it and I'm stunned. The story of Big Edie and Little Edie is indeed fascinating--the dysfunction and codependency. The cats!

I watched Grey Garden on a plane last year on one of those long long flights.
It was the new one with Drew Barrymore. I really enjoyed it, although I don't think it would appeal to mainstream movie-watchers. Recommended.
