Ah, to be inbred and so insecure.
A couple of my students told me they have some family in Alabama working at a KIA plant. It would be nice to see KIA pack up shop if this guy won and show them that they may not speak English, but they do hire (and lay off) English speakers. |

And this is why I don't get out of shape when Koreans don't cater to English speakers on websites et al. Is it good? No. Should it be changed? Yes. Just remember that Koreans don't have a monopoly on the language purity meme. |

I would think businessmen would want to do things in as many languages as possible to bring in more business. |

Whatever, if Americans want to go and make English only, so be it. English is the unofficial official language of the States. If you can't hang, well so be it, life isn't handed to you on a platter. |

"Unofficial official." In other words, English is NOT the official language of the states and never has been. Can Alabama choose to do so? Sure, at its own risk (as the article mentions). It's a state's choice to make itself less competitive. |
