I had students tell me that the tank which killed the two Korean schoolgirls a few years back near the DMZ actually reversed and ran over them again and again repeatedly while the tank crew laughed......
The Korean internet message boards are populated by teenagers and idiots. |

| I guess now that the South Koreans have found out it was the US trying to instigate a war between the Koreas, the only thing left is for them to unify and declare war on America. Brilliant rumor. |

Well, remember the Maine. (Sunk by Americans in disguise.) Vietnam conflict wasn't escalated by the Vietnamese. You never know.

OK, but what's the motive for Americans to sink a ship in this case? If the truth comes out, they end up with 2 enemies instead of one. There is just no logic there. you'd have to assume that America wants to (or at least accepts the possibility) fight South Korea. |
