My 2 cents: I think the place in China you're living in makes a huge difference. Shanghainese worship money and tend to use people quite a lot. So often you sort of second guess their intentions and realise before long they're just stringing you along. Shanghainese women can be freaking gorgeous and I dated a few but gave up after a while, just a bit too cold and calculating for me. There are a heck of a lot of migrant workers/uni students from other provinces too so you have more than enough other options, though often you find even in the wider surrounding areas that attitude is still there, just not as bad. They can be a bit infantile too.
Beijing and other northern girls are much better in that regard. Friendlier, warmer, and a bit more appreciative. More interested in music (real music, not the bubblegum pop crap they love over there) and the arts, too. Overall Chinese girls are pretty ok, I think Korean women are more work and a much higher percentage are outright unattainable. You also get a lot more false signals/women already hooked up with some guy they're set to marry but curious to play around a bit but turn into dead ends before long. Chinese girls are more simple, imo. They'll try the foreigner thing, get the ride of their life from Chuck from Iowa, then realise it's over, marry Chen from Zhejiang, and have a baby.
Taiwanese (if we can put them in the Chinese bracket) go gaga over westerners the most, in my experience. Never had more looks of interest, or more ease in approaching women, other than in Japan. Unfortunately I only stayed there a short while and couldn't make the most of that. |

Oner of the main things I've noticed about Chinese Women is they really don't care about age difference so much.

Generally true perhaps but certainly I have dated a perfect 10 here and i've seen other foreigners with them also.
But even the average Korean is usually fairly hot relatively speaking. They're not hard to get. Keeping hold of them is another thing...

YEP.
Your other alternative is to learn korean. But by the time you're fluent and natural enough you'll be 80 years old. |

I'm currently working in Eastern Europe!
If you want to talk about women.... This is the place to be!!!! When I go out in the center of the city it is one beauty after another. Especially this time of year when the weather is heating up, and short skirts and high heels are re-appearing.
But anyway, at the university where I work, there are many different nationalities. Lots of Chinese, quite a few Koreans, and a handful of Japanese. There definitely is a difference between the girls from these countries. The Japanese girls are quite conservative (in a good way, not idiot-redneck way). I get the impression for them that they try to show a lot of class and dignity at all times. The Korean girls are quite foolish, and are very immature for their age. They act like little girls...and often try to dress that way too. While the Chinese girls are hard working, and never make problems. However, the Chinese girls are constantly surrounded by all the Chinese guys, and seem immersed in their social circle of countrymen. Because of this, they seem a bit cold to anyone not Chinese. They rarely speak to anyone who isn't Chinese, and when they do, it is a very short exchange. |

| I disagree. While one may be bombarded by stumpy Chinese girls in Shanghai or wherever else, it is not impossible to date attractive Korean women. I had a hard time even spotting any attractive women in China in all of the places I went as opposed to Seoul. Taiwan had some cuties though. |
I didn't say all attractive Korean women are untouchable, just most. Maybe its not as impossible as one would think but I still have yet to see a western male with a ridiculously attractive Korean female. Average sure, but racing girl, korean drama, celebrity hot? Still have yet to see it. |
Well, most of the girls that hot have a lot of plastic surgery. I once dated a girl who was a ballet dancer, and man was she gorgeous, but the emotional baggage that came along led it to be a relatively short lived experience. Another girl worked for a big fashion merchandising company, and she too was hot. She also had a fake nose and augmentation. It's all gotta be natural for me to be impressed. |

Many live fast and hard.
In Toronto, most of my girlfriends where simply thrown out of China and into college/university at a tender age (18-25) and are happy to have a local talk to them and take them out. Some had Chinese boyfriends and just wanted to fool around. A few had parent/daddy problems and thought that they didn't care because they were lonely and missing their homeland. The ones here tend to live fast. Either they are out with their Chinese friends drinking and 'hooking up' or they are lonely and looking for any boyfriend to take them out. |

You should understand that Chinese parents who can afford to send their kids to a North American university, or even afford to immigrate are most often the upper classes of Chinese society. So judging a Chinese person on the way they act in Toronto, New York or LA is like judging a spoiled rich "princess" who has no worries accept for her trivial social dramas. |

Exactly before I worked in China I thought that Chinese girls were geeky studious students. That is because I grew up in Vancouver and only saw the pudgy princess ones with glasses at my university. Then when I moved to China it was like wow check out the boots and the skirt , wonder women Chinese girls everywhere. |

This guy is totally right.
Know why?
Hot Korean girls never speak English. Seriously. Never.
Foreign language skill is one of many things they don't have to develop because of their hotness...along with personality.
Hot girls are overrated. |

| Because the racing queen, celebrity, etc. would be a pariah among their fans. Losing money would be a motivating factor to not date a foreigner. |

I've been dating them. Maybe that's because I'm modeling and acting now, but it's been monsoon season for me after a short drought. However, you are right. Most of them don't speak English and are all "한국만 공부 빨리 빨리". It's fine I guess, I needed some motivation to learn. I would have to de-bunk the personality thing though; sure, you have your plastic Barbies, but I've dated lots with good personalities and that were frankly a joy to be around. |

This is so damned true, it is painful!
Beautiful women do not have a care in the world, because everything they want comes to them easily on a platter from drooling suitors. Simply smile, flirt a bit, and... bang!... new car! Vacation! Marriage with no pre-nup!
If you aren't a fool, you will date a few hot women when you are young, but then find yourself a better woman with some actual skill and motivation in life. |
