I'm teaching myself how to mix at the moment, and I want to go out and see how some other DJs mix. Who do you think are technically the best DJs in Seoul and where can I see them? Mostly interested in hip hop, funk, house and techno. |

That's pure gold.
In all honesty, stage presence does have a lot to do with gaining popularity as a DJ. Armin Van Buuren, currently ranked No.1 by readers of DJ Mag, has mastered the "flap your arms like a bird and bounce around in a circle" technique that has eluded so many of his predecessors. If he can incorporate some "Magnum" or "Le Tigre" into his arsenal he'll be on top for years to come. |
