|
|
They only gave me a Single entry visa this time for some reason.
But I want to go to Thailand or something this summer.
The immi offices are far away and I never have time off from school to go there. Basically it's a huge pain in the azz to get out there.
Can't I just buy my plane ticket, show up at the airport and play dumb and just get through? Can I just get the multiple entry at the airport nice and easy? Would it seriously be a major issue or is it no big deal? I really don;t want to waste a vacation day going out to immi. And I don;t want to send my passport through the mail either.

| single entry or re-entry? If you have no re-entry stamps of any kind you're not getting back in on your visa. that said I think you can buy re-entry stamps at the airport. |

If you leave and do not have a re-entry permit you will void your work status and NOT be able to re-enter and continue work.
You CAN however get a re-entry permit at the airport.
You need 30k won, your passport, your ARC and about 30 minutes in the immigration office BEFORE you go through security. The airport can only issue single use re-entry permits so you will need to get one EACH TIME you travel.
The other option (if you want a multiple use re-entry permit) is to go to your local immigration office or do it on line from the hikorea or immigration websites.50k won and access to a fax machine and the ability to pay by credit card or bank transfer.

Few years ago I was gonna take a flight to Tokyo, they made me buy the Multipe entry in Gimpo and I almost missed my flight. My fault, but I had a multiple before so assumed it was the same on that visa too.
Anyways get there a bit early and do the paperwork. Have a good trip. |

Awesome, thanks.
Now I don't need to waste part of this vacation going to immi. I'll just take care of it at the airport.
