Hey my girlfriend and I want to go to Oido Park (not sure if that's he name of the place tbh). It's a short bus ride from the end of line 4 in Ansan. There is place there with tons of seafood restaurants, and when the tide is out people can walk around around the mud flats and observe the life of the ocean. The problem is that we don't know when the tide will be out, and we don't want to go there when the tide is in (being the second largest tide in the world) because we won't be able to walk around on the mud flat. Could anyone help me out with the tidal schedule? Perhaps a website, or maybe someone who lives in Ansan might be able to prodive some insight. Thanks.

Hi , Murph.
The park closest to Oido is called ,I think ,Okpo Park.
This is set up on a hill overlooking the East Sea.
This is about a 5,000 won taxi trip from Oido Station.
I don't believe that you can go out on the tidal flats there.

However, if you can get some transportation just down the way
, south, towards DaeBuDo,or, JaeBuDo, than you Can really get out there.

I'm not sure of the bus numbers , as I always owned a car when I lived in Ansan .
I do believe that you may be able to get a bus though .
