I know that we will never know.

Take it easy

Do you actually know for sure that we will never know? Or will we never know that we we'll never know?

I don't know, you know?

Do I sound like someone who knows something?

I think Courtney Love was in Rome at the time he died. If she killed him she must have paid someone to do it. I think it's kind of unlikely with all the media attention and everything that something about it hasn't come out. I mean it's not like she's a secret agent, I think someone from her circle would have let the secret out eventually. She doesn't seem like someone who can keep a secret either. I think she would slip up at some point.

I don't think she has a relationship with her father and from the documentary I saw where they talked to him, he seemed like he just wanted attention.

Some people have made a point about the fact that her album Live Through This came out when he died with the ironic title.

She does seem like a completely amoral person what with fighting Nirvana's band members over the money and now she says she slept with Gwen Stefani's husband. Still, there's a big difference between that and the murder of your husband.

Anyway you're not alone in thinking she did it. It's practically a mantra everytime her name comes up. She's the Yoko Ono of the 90s but even more controversial.

No, she was in LA.

The documentary, The last 48 Hours of Kurt Cobain on Youtube, is the most readily accessible source confirming as much

Much more talented and charismatic, too.

Yoko Ono would have gone absolutely nowhere, were it not for meeting Lennon. Love, by contrast, still would have been a major star because she had an intensely magnetic personality and could actually write music, do art and act.

What are you - Her number one stalker fanboy? She would have been a coked out stripper without her husband.

I'm no expert on opiates, and I do pretty much believe Cobain killed himself, but doesn't heroin numb emotional pain?

I would expect a user to feel down and, in Cobain's case, suicidal after the effects had worn off......but the level of smack found in his bloodstream should have made him numb.....or do I not understand heroin abuse enough?

I think most of us would have difficulty understanding how someone feels when they are suicidal, rather than misunderstanding what it feels like to be smacked up

^This is a very interesting point.

Having some experience with opiates / drugs in general, it's true that you feel down mostly when you're NOT high. Like the day later, when reality hits. While you're actually high, you feel fine. You don't feel suicidal at that time. Only later...that's why the desire to use again is so strong.

If he had so much heroin in his system, it seems like he'd be in some sort of delirious, pleasurable trance.

I don't think a junkie would kill himself while he was high, but that's just my own two cents. Who knows what was going on with Cobain that afternoon...? Both theories are plausible I think. And unimportant. The entire issue speaks more about creativity, drug addiction, and depression than 'conspiracy'.

And if Courtney did it and there was evidence, she'd be busted by now. It hasn't happened. She's either living with a bad legacy or bad karma. Whatever the case, the girl does NOT look happy.

Rubbish. If anything, her marriage to Kurt (and pregnancy with Francis) held her career back. Courtney was also clean when she met Kurt, but went straight back on heroin. If anyone took musical inspiration from anyone, it was Kurt from Courtney. Listen to the difference between Nevermind and In Utero. Very clearly, many of the songs on the latter have Courtney Love written all over them.

Depression is a bitch. But a depressed junkie? I have no problem believing suicide. Still a waste... Sad

To the OP, yes, you are truly the only one on the face of the earth that believes that Cobain was murdered. Of course, nobody else cares about it, so that might be a factor.
