Hi Guys,

I live in Yeoksam-dong in Gangnam-gu and I wanted to ask about my favorite sport, tennis.

(1) Where are the good, free outdoor courts in Seoul?

(2) Would anyone like to play with me?

All the Best,
Grant

I live in Gangnam and have NEVER seen free, public access outdoor courts. I haven't seen any indoor ones either. I imagine there's some sports club somewhere but i haven't seen it.

If you find out let me know, i'm also a tennis player.

I don't know how helpful this is, but I play at Olympic Park. The courts are nice, but you have to call ahead and rent the court out for an hour(found this out the hard way).

8,000 an hour, pretty cheap. It's never busy during the week, but the weekend can get hectic.

Thanks for the replies Red_Devil and PatrickBateman!

Olympic park isn't too far away.

Do you guys want to play sometime? I played a bit in high school, rusty, but in decent tennis shape. I'm itching to get on the courts.

Call a date and I'll be there... Providing it isn't before 10pm on weekdays... So any of the ideal times I'll have to miss... The one downfall of working at a warthog. I mean hagwon.

Yeah, I don't mind meeting up to play. I work at 2:30 every day during the week and I'm free on the weekends. PM me.

I wouldn't mind hooking up for a hit sometime. I played a fair bit of competitive tennis as a junior, but in recent years not too much. Wouldn't mind getting some regular games going though. I'm in HBC.
