Any suggestions on where I can fax something to the United States? Any idea on costs of faxing a few pages? It's often an absurd charge from Office Depot etc in the states....
Thanks for any ideas.

faxzero.com

It's free for up to 3 pages.

Do you work at a public or private school?

Either way your admin office (PS) or the secretary (hakwon) can do it for you and the cost will probably only be 1-2k won for a few pages.

If you are NOT working then a kinkos can do it but I am not sure of the cost.

Yeah, there's some inexplicable weirdness over the admin faxing something. It's my IRS request for the tax exemption certificate. The school's a public/private school......go figure!
I haven't seen any Kinkos, I didn't know they existed here.......is there one near a major station I can find or anyone knows of?
Thanks for the help - appreciated.

Seoul? City hall, exit 1, top of the stairs and look to your right, It is about 50 feet from the exit behind the trees and to the left of the KFC/

There's one in Samseong dong if you're over the Gangnam side of town. Line 2: Seolleung Station exit 10, walk for about 5 minutes. It's on your left (if you get to the first underpass you've gone too far).

FYI: It will cost you an arm and a leg there. I had to fax about four pages to the US last year and it cost me about 11,000won....extortion. Unfortunately my office fax didn't seem to be letting me fax abroad and we don't have a scanner. Argh! Faxes. What year is this!? There should never be any need to fax in 2010! My school needs a damn scanner!

Can't you just scan it and turn it into a PDF and email it?

Faxzero allows you to fax Word documents and PDFs so you don't need to have a scanner unless you have to send the facsimile of a document.
