Does Dave's need to get more "Korean"?
YES, only sellers living and working in Korea should be allowed to post here.

They can. However, YOU are not a buyer outside of Korea replying to a seller in Korea.

So you want me to be blocked but not the guy scamming you in another country? Who is in possession of your brain today?

You created a huge long discussion

No, I made a single post and people replied. I am answering to the stupid conclusions people like yourself are drawing up.

THIS THREAD IS FOR BUYING, SELLING, AND TRADING

This forum might be, but this thread was DEFINITELY for dealing with scammers. If you don't like it, don't read it. Do you buy items you don't want? Do you reply to sellers selling items you don't want? Who is in possession of your brain today?

what rules will make it impossible for people

I never said impossible, minimize is a better choice of words.

Plenty of people may disagree with you, and by reading the thread, it seems that everyone does, but that's another issue.

Yes, everyone that posted must represent the world. Ignore the poll results which show twice as many in favor of my position.

Okay, lemme break this down for you. Clearly there are some comprehension issues that are making this confusing for you.

They=the people who transferred money to Korean bank accounts, for items that were advertised on Dave's ESL Cafe, were scammed (because they sent money and did not receive the advertised goods).

The accounts=the accounts held by scammers who received money but did not give said advertised goods.

So, to recap, the people who were scammed went to the Korean police so the police could track down the scammer's account, since it is a Korean account.

What you're talking about is a different situation entirely. Nobody actually got scammed by the guy in Tunisia or wherever who was "selling" his online account. There was no scam, just some dude who kept trying to sell the same thing over and over again. There were no Korean police involved, because there was no scam, because 99.9% of people who are university graduates are not dumb enough to "buy" an online account for $3.

Why can't buyers out of Korea reply to sellers in Korea?

Think about what you are saying here, lifeinkorea.

You want to stop people IN KOREA, buying from people OUTSIDE of KOREA, yet people OUTSIDE of KOREA, can still buy from people INSIDE of KOREA.

You really are wrapped in cellophane!

Clear as mud, people who were scammed, yet there was no scam

Nobody said you have to "wrap" yourself in Dave's cellophane and only buy things here. Get out of the cellophane, check other sites, take the risk IF YOU WANT.
