--Does anyone know anything about this? Any advice or tips?

I want to get my TESOL/TEFL certificate before I start teaching in Korea, so that I can get the pay raise, and this seems to be the best and cheapest route. And I want to go to Thailand.

I'm not looking at online because I've read that some schools (specifically in Vietnam), disregard the online certificates.
