|
|
I left Seoul one day after the store opened and never got a chance to check it out. I am planning on returning in the next little while and was wondering if shopping has improved since H&M has arrived?
What are the prices like? Similar to the States or Canada? Do they carry all sizes like they do at home?
Thanks |

Improved but they sometimes make you queue outside. I say just do your shopping back in the 705. Prices aren't inflated and reasonable but queuing for H&M just isn't. |

It's quite funny because in the UK, H & M is considered to be cheap and suitable for students. Here in Korea, it's seen as a foreign luxury. |

Yep, the prices are surprisingly on par, at least, with the San Francisco H&M |

i'm starting to really dislike the h&m here. every time i've been there i've either seen a line at the door (in which case, i pass it by) or there's a big line at the register. i've also found the dressing rooms on the ground floor to be a little dark, which is inconvenient when you're trying to match things. |

same in Japan too
People were lining up for well over an hour everyday for a few weeks when the Ginza store opened about 2 years ago. |

People have already said it all: expensive and busy. I would also add that I wasn't that impressed with what was for sale. |

Uhh...I haven't seen it super busy in a while. I dropped in today at around 530 and was in and out.
As for the prices, if you're going home in a few months, I'd say no, it's not worth it. But if you're in Korea for the long-haul, it'll save you a couple of bucks off of places like Zara or Club Monaco.
The choices are sub-par but for guy's business casual it's actually decent style-wise. |

I wear a size 14/L in Ontario and can easily shop at H&M. Are they carrying into the larger sizes in Seoul? |

Evidently haven't been in on a weekend in a while. It was absolutely heaving on Saturday. |

Went by this last Sunday, no lines outside anymore. I didn't go in.
About two weeks prior, no lines outside, but pretty crazy inside. But it was a Saturday, and this is a city of millions of people. |

i was there on sunday around 11am and it was already crowded.. long line for fitting room and to pay.. i just came back from the US and i have to say the prices are about the same after exchange rates.. maybe a little more.. i'm a size 10 and found my size in everything i wanted to try on.. i saw up to size 14 and some shirts had XL which i didn't know H&M carried..
i'm pretty excited about h&m.. at least theres a place to buy reasonably priced basics |
