I would really like for my friend to come visit me for a week while I'm working in Seoul. We plan on splitting the plane ticket.
Does anyone know cheap airlines that could be roundtrip for around $1000 or so...? A few flights I saw online were minimum $1400...this seems quite high.
Has anyone had visitors that got a good deal on tickets?
Oh, and my friend is from Toronto btw 
Also, does anyone know when the high season/low season is for flights from North America? My pal doesn't mind what season she visits during. |

Premium pricing (shoulder ) from May -June.
High season during July-Aug.
Shoulder in Sept.
CHEAP flights in Oct/Nov.
Back up again in Dec for XMAS.
Look at Korean Air, Cathay Pacific (via HK) or flights out of NY,NY or Chicago.

| $1400 sound just about right for round-trip tickets. You might be able to find flights for slight cheaper if you transit through LA. I think KAL and Asiana offer 2 flights each daily during the off-season, so that's at least 4 available flights plus whatever other airlines offer. But you'll be hard pressed to find prices under $1000 |
