The same girl who shuns you on the street is the same girl who would happily open conversation with you... if you met through friends.
I don't know if there is any culture where you can be all that successful just going up to a random person on the street and start talking with them. Seems a bit... desperate.
Then again, if you try it 1000 times, at least one time should be a success! |

Do you plan on walking up to a girl and just speak in English? |

Why are you asking out of interest? Are you currently stalking someone? |

If he's white and decent looking you'd be surprised at the response. Just ask for directions first and go from there. |

Daygame goes against Korean culture of dating, but as foreigners we can get away with it.
You can actually say anything and get a response, there is no magic pick up line, in fact, Pick up Lines don't even exists.
Always open her in English and try to set a date and time for a next meeting.
Then she'll probably flake on that 2nd meeting, but 1 in 5 usually go through with it. |

Korea - the sexual paradise for desperate, average looking white guys. |

LOL, 1 in 5. Those odds aren't too great for the ego, heh. |

I've read and heard that in Korean culture you can't really just approach someone that you like.
You have to be friends first, or a friend could set you up on a blind date apparently thats how a lot of relationships start. Its a big thing here. |

I don't need any opening lines. The girls initiate conversations with me.
Err not really conversations. They just yell HIII~~~~~~, their friend giggles, I say 'what?', and then we proceed to talk in busted ass Konglish. |

No it doesn't. Koreans call it 헌팅, it's not uncommon at all, and they "get away with it" just fine. |

Agreed. I have heard stories such as this from more than a few women over the years. Typically they say a guy (usually Korean) will ask to borrow their phone for an emergency, then proceed to call his own phone so that his number is in her call history. From there, he will try to talk with her, but let her know that his number is in her call history.
I'm not sure how well that works. With all of the stories and personal experiences of women calling at 4am after not having talked in weeks or months however..it might not be a bad idea. |

Interesting, its called Hunting. Cool.. Good to know.
Most guys just don't have the balls for daygame, but most girls respond to it surprising well. |
