I'm looking for some quality beef for a dinner party.
A nice piece of meat would be grass-fed with no drug injections. Can that be found at your local superstore (i.e. Lotte Department Store/Home Plus/E-mart)? If not, what is the next best thing? |

I'm not looking to pay 150,000 won for some beef. I'm looking for something in the range of grass fed beef from New Zealand/Australia that you'd find at Whole Foods in the states. |

| I do notice the Hoju beef is more lean than the meegook stuff. I dunno exactly what quality Hanwoo is as I don't pay those kind of prices, but the Australian is good. |

| I just bought 1400 grams of USA beef at 800won for 100 grams. Some of the best meat I've eaten. |

Three words : Alaska smoked salmon.
It comes in a nice cardboard box with mountain images and shining fish jumping into the air. |

Salmons good too. It's expensive though. The stuff I buy is 7500won for 150grams. |

How do you get on shipping salmon? Doesn't it thaw out and go bad? I get my bacon and cheese from gmarket, but they aren't as perishable as fish. |

| I haven't bought food online, but I have Korean friends who do that. Apparently it's very popular for housewives to buy the groceries online. Most of the big supermarket chains have that option. I would guess that GMarket and such would just deliver it to you in an thermal box. If they didn't, they'd probably lose customers pretty quick. |
