akaizer don't listen to your VP he has no idea what he's talking about and GEPIK doesn't control your movement. Anyways if you had your reentry stamp then you have nothing to worry about. If you're still worried about your douche VP tell him to phone immigration to confirm your status. |

Yeah, everything was fine. They are trying to list my days off as unpaid vacation now so I am still fighting it out over that, it sounds like a huge load (a load of we want to pay you as little as possible... unfortunately)
It is my pay week so I will be on someone if there is stupid shit going down over it. |

akaizer, I don't work for GEPIK, but if they are vacation days, such as children's day, it's paid vacation. Phone the GEPIK office have them set your school straight. Don't bother wasting your time talking directly to the school about matters they have already seemingly made their minds up about. They are wrong and I'm sure they are more likely to change their mind if they hear it from a higher up authority, than if they hear it from you. |

Hey I was wondering if someone could tell me if I'm in Korea as a Canadian just on my passport and stay the whole 6 months and leave before and return pass the expire date, will it be ok to return right away and just get another 6 months stamp? |

Yes, you can do that.
Immigration MAY ask for place of residence and / or proof of funds to show that you are not working illegally but it is unlikely.
Additionally you should be aware that the boarding airline may require you to show proof of outward bound passage from Korea before they let you back on the return flight into Korea.

I dealt with this by telling them I was taking the ferry to Japan rather than flying onward and told them to check all the stamps in my passport if they didn't believe me. |
