Hopefully this is the right forum for this, but anyway...

I applied for one of those 30-day E2 visa extensions on the HiKorea "Government for Foreigners" website, and despite an error message, my application went in okay. 2 days later, my visa extension was granted. So far, so good.

However, I need to print out my Receipt and Certificate for this visa extension, and it doesn't work on any computer I've tried. The window where the printable file should be comes up, complete with print/save/etc. controls, but it's immediately followed by "Error Message: Failed to Create MSXML 4.0 intance", and my file doesn't how up. I've attempted this on 3 different PCs, all using Internet Explorer, and having installed the ridiculous bevy of ActiveX controls required to make the site work. I've tried 2 computers with English Windows XP and one with Korean XP.

There's no help available on the site, and when I tried calling the Immi telephone line, they just told me to try another computer.

Any idea what would be a good course of action here? Thanks for any and all help.

There is always option "B" - go in to an immigration office and have them do it for you.

Problem is that the site was designed for use with IE6 and lots of the functions DON'T work with IE7 or 8.

IF the computer you are using has been upgraded to either of those it will fail.

Find one with IE6 or go to plan "B" (above).
