ive searched and couldnt find an answer.
when u are looking at bank websites and it says cash (buying/selling) travelers check (buying/selling) etc. whos perspective are they talking from. the person or the bank?
so for example for nonghyup it shows on the website for usd buying at 1184.37 so does that mean i can buy 1usd for 1184.37 won or they will buy a dollar from me for 1184.37 won |

you're obviously paying the higher value.
The bank isn't going to sell it to you cheaper than they're buying it at. |

Often they're reversed - you get the least favorable of the two numbers. If they only have one number, you can understand it better by looking under Yahoo Currency to see what the true rate is first. |
