This isn't about national pride or immigration to me.
It's about freedom of speech.
An American flag is not profane or threatening, therefore no one should be banned from wearing one on their shirt, particularly if another country's flag is okay to wear.
If people can wear swastikas, profanity (Cohen v. California) or clothing that is political in nature (Tinker v. Des Moines), then US flag t-shirts or Hezbollah T-Shirts or whatever are fine with me. |
