Not at all enthused with the outcome. Sandra just didn't do enough. And her cockiness and inability to speak proper English annoy me.
I was pulling for Rupert (who yes didn't do much more) or Pavarti. I really think she should have won. She did very well in challenges and made many more bold moves where all Sandra did is the usual lay in the shadow routine and say some snappy stuff that made viewers either say "You go girl!" or "ugghhh". |

| Can someone please explain one thing to me? These past two seasons were apparently shot back to back with Russell just continuing from one game to the next. So when he was doing Heroes vs. Villains he should not have known the outcome of his first game as that had not aired yet. But he did. He acknowledges on his day 39 confessional that he took weak players with him before and that he lost, so he might change it up this time. There is something not right there. |

I really liked this season. Even though I would have voted for Pavarotti I cant blame the jury for voting for Sandra.
Believe it or not this is the first time I saw Survivor since season 2! Since coming to Korea I suddenly had no friends and free time so I picked it up.
I found Colby very disappointing since he was so dominate in season 2. I still didn't like Jerri for reasons I cannot remember.
What other seasons do you fans recommend that I see?
I love good villains, as entertained by Russell he is just too one dimensional for me. I would like to see when Parv won and would like other suggestions. Thanks! |

Russell was sitting at the first games's tribal council while the final votes were being read, just like he was this time. |

| But the final tribal council for Survivor Samoa where the winner is announced did not happen until AFTER Heroes VS. Villains had wrapped. During Heroes Vs. Villains Russel had not yet seen who the final winner of his first showing was. But he knew... |

I do not remember this confessional at all, but we will go under the assumption you are right
Theres many possible explanations for this
1) Ruessel read leaked information off the internet during his ten days
2) The Jury told him after the vote
3) The producers may in fact TELL the contestants how many votes they got and who won the game
4) He may NOT have knwn but since he is a MASTER at reading people, he may have known he didnt win and just went with that.
5) When filming that confessional he may have filmed TWO of them, one for assuming a win, and another for a loss.
6) HIs wife may have told him ( again she could have found out leaked info by then) when she came to the island
7) It could have slipped from ANYONE on the production crew while he was filming H vs V
Its possible that the show told ALL of the contestants a bit about RUssel in fairness to the 19 who had never seen him before. |

He says it when he is sitting up on the hill going on about how great it was to make it 39 days back to back.
Well, all the reasons you stated are certainly possibilities. I was looking for something that explained it without showing that the whole "We will wait until the reunion/finale show to reveal the winner. " was BS. |

Survival of the least fit once again.
Weak and worthless.
If you were deserted on an island with
the likes of these past two "winners" they'd be a huge burden.
You'd be much more likely perish as a direct result of their presence.
They may be as fine as the next person, but "survivors"? Hardly. |

Yes and if you are traped on a deserted island you routinely have to go through challenges to get rewards from this one dude, and go to a meeting every 3 days to kick somone out of your group.
It's almost like its not actually attempting to be reality but a game with survivalistic undertones to it. |

It's 'Survivor: Outwit, Outlast, OUTPLAY'.
Not 'Survivor: Outlive'.
Hardly the same thing, eh? |

Well...
Glad to see Sanra win after watching the torrent I just downloaded.
Did she deserve it? No so more than any other player I suppose but the girl's got spunk. Burning Russell's hat was the icing on the cake, a man who enjoys burning socks, dumping water, and hiding survival equipment. HE even respected that move.
Given her situation, she seemed the lone survivor from the get-go and remained so to the end. Kudos to her.
Have a good one guys... |

Was it just me, or did it appear that they put way too little effort into their speeches to the jury.
They could have used the opportunity to smooth some ruffled feathers and anticipate and address some issues that the jury members are sure to raise.
As it was, Ruperts hypocritical tirade went unanswered, and was the final word. |

I am going to go out on a limb and pick Jerri to in it all. She's not as bitchy as people remember her being. She's a team player, not annoying anyone (so far), and she's tougher than anyone expected. Even after Rupert hurled her against that wooden post.
Here are some more predictions from me.
Rupert: Just like the last 2 times, people will realize no one can beat him in the finals, and vote him off. Final 6 if he's lucky.
Coach: Into the final 6 or so.
Russell: Going home soon. He'll get blindsided and not use the idol.
Boston Rob: He'll be final 4.
James: Going home in the next few weeks.
Tyson: He'll be first to go when the villains start picking each other off.
Courtney: A wild card. I can see her in the final 5 or 6.
Parvati: The victim of a blindisde quite soon. She is viewed as quite a threat.
I also think no one who has won before could ever win in front of the jury. That rules out Boston Rob (b/c of Amber, he is viewed as a winner), and Parvati.
I also see the heroes continue to lose. Voting off Tom was a terrible idea. |
Hindsight is of course 20/20, but you were not all that close were ya?

Let's see. I was right about Rupert and James. Not others.
I picked Jerri to win and she was #4. I'd say that's pretty close.
