Dongdaemun has a couple authentic soccer stores. I'm terrible at giving directions though. |

Any of the brand name sports stores will have them (Adidas, Nike etc...). They're all over the place. Your local E-mart/Homeplus probably has one inside. |

Go to a Nike store. Around world cup time they should be selling the fan version of the shirts. If you want an Authentic one, some of the stores do sell them, but I'm not sure which one. |

I just picked up a fan-kit from the Nike Store at COEX. Does anyone know where to pick up authentic jerseys (including name and number) that the players actually wear? I have an authentic player issue korea 2002 kit, but it cost me an arm and a leg... |

Does your 2002 Korea kit have all the WC badges on it? Check the badges, most likely the WC version is slightly different from what you may have. They are hard to get since they only made 100 or so for the players to wear, one for each game.
Very recently I was told by a jersey expert friend of mine, they don't normally sell authentic jerseys that players wear. At least for world cup, and for the big euro leagues, player jerseys are only made for the players. If you find someone who actually has an authentic player jersey he has inside sources somewhere, or won it at some team auction. What you find in stores are various degrees of fan jerseys, aka 'authentic' fan jerseys. The best one you can get is in the $100 range without a name on them. |

You mean the new one that reads "Begin to 2010" (whatever the heck that is supposed to mean)
They are everywhere, though sadly they were mass produced before someone had the foresight to either not print English or have a person who could actually understand English proof it.
I still have the one from the 2006..glad I kept it around. |

Yeah, my 2002 kit is the player issue dual-layer jerseys that Nike made for the national teams. It has all the badges and correct tags. I also have a dual layer (climacool) Bayern Munich (same year) away kit that was made by Adidas. It's true, they are very hard to find but they're out there.
When I went to the game in Seoul (against Ecuador), I saw a lot of people wearing the "authentic" fan jersey with names on them. Does anyone know where they purchased those? I'm a footy kit collector and only get full authentic player-issue kits, and adding a Korea 2010 kit would be awesome! |

Most of the Nike shops have just rolled out a football shirt extravaganza. Holland, Korea and any other Nike sponsored national side is there. |

There's a pretty big difference in quality between the stadium and replica shirts. The replica shirt will have the Dri-Fit technology meaning that it will be a lot more comfortable when you sweat or when it's just hot outside. The stadium shirts from my understanding feel like wearing garbage bags. |
