Weather isn't great so plans were cancelled for today, so I'm inside at 3pm still, and since I woke up at 11am, the same two 1:30 songs have been BLASTING out of 50 huge speakers somewhere down in the streets over, and over, and over, coating the city.

At one point it went to two different 1:30 bits, before someone seemed to press the stop button and revert back to the first two.

I'm going to murder everyone in this apartment.

It's not even the first time I've heard them, but usually I'm out during the weekends and at work in the week, so I can safely say this happens every...single...day. How on earth is this allowed?

Election time. Get some white gloves, go down to the speaker-truck and dance with the sexy ajumas.

Seriously. I can only thank whatever deity is out there for not hokey pokeying... Would politicians really do this to me?

At least on the surface political campaigning here seems to be generally positive.

I'd take music and waving people any day over "Mayor Quimby supports revolving door prisons. Mayor Quimby even released Sideshow Bob -- a man twice convicted of attempted murder.

Can you trust a man like Mayor Quimby? Vote Sideshow Bob for mayor."

They sure do love to blast loud music in questionably appropriate situations in this country.

Day off? Awesome. There's a spinning barber pole with my name on it. Party time.
