Well technically I'm morbidly morbid, since I just acquired alcohol poisoning and just had the worst day of my life teaching (as in vomiting every 8 minutes and resting my head on a desk crying), but really, generally I'm very happy. Every day.

Aye I managed to control it a bit. One time I walked into a shop to try and eat something and had to suddenly rush out to do the business and I saw 10 kids getting out the bus to get into my school, with me in plain view. Had to rush round the corner, kids walking towards the school...
In panic I ended up going round the side of a car and then just standing innocently as if I simply thought I saw something interesting...

Ha, nothing out-of-the-ordinary with a bit of public vomiting or urinating. I've seen it many times, and often had to navigate minefields of vomit. Yet another reason to be happy about being in Korea Laughing

I've gotten all of the gifts on my list, am 70% packed, and have less than 24 hours until I'm on my way home!

How'd you manage this? What program are you in?

Masters of Social work...I'm going to work for the Department of Veterans affairs - used to work for them before coming to Korea - (knocks self on side of the head AGAIN for doing this)

VA pays for all tuition and fees and gives me 1,000 a year for books

I will get paid 1250 a month for housing.

I will be paid 7 dollars per hour to study (25 hours per week) VA work study program.

I currently receive 1,000 a month from a VA disability

I will have another part time job paying about 1,000 per month.

What a deal eh????

Gonna get a cheap dinner with my girl tonight. I'm a simple guy and that's enough for me to put up with today's terrible classes Smile

Day 3 with my grandparents in their mountain house. The air is so clean and the tap water so refreshing. We're going to volunteer at the soup kitchen tomorrow morning, as well as the next day, then I'm off to NYC! Wahoo!

I'm happy because I managed to eat half of my lunch today, which is the best I've done since I caught some nasty food poisoning over the weekend.

I'm heading to NYC tomorrow, after a lovely stay in the mountains with my grandparents. Time for some pizza and bagels! I'll miss the clean air and well water, though. Wish I could take some back to Korea.
