If I could, I'd vote for whomever has the hottest adjumma dancers.
Least annoying campaign song is my second criteria.

and only after they've had an F5 for 3 years I believe. I remember seeing some stats saying there were only a couple hundred F5s in the country. |

F5 is a residency visa, not permanent if you take a couple of years residency in another country.
F5 visa holders can vote in some elections, but not the presidential ones. |

I'll be voting on the 2nd - I've already contacted the election commission for my Gu and they've confirmed that I'm on the list. |

Ah, ok... no worries, just wasn't going to bother to reply if you didn't actually want to know.
Some people don't really like expressing who they are going to vote for (here or back home), but I've never really had a problem with it.
For Mayor, I'll most likely for for Oh Se Hoon instead of Han Myeong-sook. I feel that Oh has done a reasonable job with running Seoul over the last few years, and I honestly doubt that Han could manage it better.
For the superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, I'll probably vote Lee Won-hee. Kwak is focused on 'free lunches' as his platform, and that does little for me. I'd much rather see attention put on early childhood care (like tax breaks for those that employ nannies).
Other than that, there are 6 slots that I'm still not sure about. Most likely, I'll vote along Hanara Dang party lines. Noting is decided until the 2nd though, and I'm always willing to hear about the different positions. |
