Anyone here know if anyone has failed the medical exam?

I'm sure it's not common, especially since we're coming from developed countries.

Though, a recruiter told me that in 5 years he has known 2 people who failed... one for TB and the other for mota.

I knew a guy who failed an HIV test before even taking the medical test. He was out of here in a week!

I once had a very high blood pressure score. 180/110. I was warned about it and encouraged to take lifestyle changing steps and medication.
I had to go to the hospital the second time with a Bi-lingual POE official.
It's under control now at 120/70

I initially failed my liver enzyme test (they hadn't told me I was taking the test that Friday or else I would have avoided drinking at wings on Tuesday and trivia on Thursday, lol)...

Naturally they're first assumption was that I MUST have Hep. B or C... Because the fact that I'm overweight and admitted to drinking and didn't have any symptoms of Hep. minus the liver function tests must mean that it can't be something as simple as a fatty liver...
75k and an ultrasound later and low and behold, a fatty liver! lol

(Which somehow actually cleared up by the time I went for my 2nd medical check a year later... Soju fixed my liver???)

I failed the monocytes blood test causing a delay of getting my alien card. My monocytes white blood cells were abnormally high. I was very sick with both cold and flu at the time. Doctor said cold and flu is not the cause, but it must had been a response to all the bacteria present in the stinky city streets foreign to my body. I had to pay more to have him examine my blood under microscope. He just simply said it can go back to normal levels. I don't know if it did or not. It concerned me, because I heard high monocytes can indicate cardio disease. Was concerned I wasn't going to get that paper to allow me a alien card, but he gave it to me.

I failed. According to my school, but not according to kimmi. My school made me retake a section since they didn't believe my "excuse" for failing. They thought I had kidney failure Laughing

I failed the chest x-ray by testing positive for TB exposure. Six months of meds sucked but I got off lucky. I had the least harmful strain available and my doctor managed to convince my school that I had most likely contracted it from the sleazy love motel I spent 12 days in under swine flu quarantine. They let me stay, thank god. What a warm welcome that was.

I've had a cough and kinda had TB in the back of my head. Rates are pretty high in Thailand where I traveled around for a few weeks. Nice to hear they let you get treatment instead of kicking you out.

No, but at SMOE orientation, I was told that I needed to cut my salt intake. So I said "No Kimchi?" and he replied Kimchi is OK, because it is health food. Good thing I don't like Kimchi anyway
