Been here about a week, but have been working most of the time. Haven't had the chance to poke around too much, but looks like there are a lot of good spots here. Beers anyone?

Try Bus Terminal area, Rodeo Square. If the weather is nice there should be a few folk sitting outside drinking.

Go to bus terminal subway (exit 2 I think) look for the big New Core building, then go into the streets behind that. If you can't find the square ask someone where 'King Kong' is....most people should know. There's a western bar called Rio's there too.

Is Mad Max a Westerner bar? If so where is it at?

Even the best places for mightey whities in Incheon are mediocre. Best
thing to do is get the Yongsan Express subway into Yongsan Station and
then get a taxi to Itaewon.

In Itaewon:

Wolfhound
3 Alley
Seoul Pub

Great places to meet people. (And not just ESL workers)

The Songdo Incheon Social Club is a facebook group with no other purpose than getting folks together both foreign and Korean.

The next event in Songdo is this one
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/event.php?eid=109998342376463&ref=ts

There's Art, bottomless beer and pizza, Weygook rock/jazz performed outside by a multinational band, and all of it in a VERY cool new venue.
Check it.

The problem with the Songdo club is that it meets early and a lot of the Yeonsu wayguks don't get done until 8-10pm.

Mad Max is a westernish bar it's across the street from Touchdown in Yeonsu-dong. I am assuming that's where you mean?

Yeti,
This event will not be much different. It's from 7-9:00 (although it'll likely run over a bit). If we start at 10:00 PM we miss out on the engineers, researchers, international school teachers, and trailing spouses. Weekend events are in the works.
